March 4, 2020 is the Minnesota Society for Respiratory Care (MSRC) annual Minnesota RT Day at the Capitol!

Please join fellow respiratory therapists by meeting with your MN legislative representatives. Our goal is to share with them the important role of respiratory therapists and request their support of the ‘RRT Entry to Licensure’ bill (HF 2910 and SF 2910).  Bonus: You will be meeting with legislators that represent you in Minnesota.

We will support you every step of the way!

What: Respiratory Therapist Day at the Capitol

Where: State Office Building

Date:  Wednesday, March 4, 2020

Time/Place: Begin at 0900- Room G23 in the State Office Building (75 Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55155)

Why: Please join your fellow Minnesota Respiratory Therapists as we advocate for RRT entry to licensure. You don’t need to be an expert lobbyist. YOU are a Respiratory Therapist and the expert in respiratory health.  LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD! WE NEED YOU! The healthcare environment in Minnesota is always changing. We must work diligently with our colleagues to ensure patient safety in all avenues of care.

Attached are resources for the upcoming RT Advocacy Day at the Minnesota State Capital on Wednesday March 4, 2020.

Please start now scheduling visits with your respective MN State legislators for a time after 10:30AM on Tuesday March 4th.
We have a shorter, robust legislative session in 2020. The legislative calendar is starting to fill already.
